Mental Health Clinician
Talia Scalise is an outpatient clinician at Leading Light Behavioral Health. Talia is a person-centered, trauma-informed clinician. Talia typically utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach. In addition to CBT, Talia often lends from DBT, Internal Family Systems and Motivational Interviewing.
Talia completed her Bachelors in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received her Masters in Psychology from Stony Brook University. Talia also completed the Addiction Counselor Education program at Westfield State University. Talia is a credentialed Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) for the Department of Transportation (DOT). Talia is a certified yoga instructor with more than a decade of experience leading meditation and movement classes.
Talia has extensive experience working with those experiencing depression, grief/loss, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, attention deficit disorder, domestic/intimate partner violence, substance use and crisis.
Talia enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Talia will meet you where you are today and support you in finding peace and clarity in your life. Talia believes therapy helps people heal and helps the world become a more compassionate place.
Talia also enjoys reading, traveling, yoga and hiking with her dog Lolly.
