Shaquiri is an outpatient clinician of Leading light Behavioral Health. She is a Boston native who grew up in lower income areas. She strives from a young child to be able to give back to her community and help the people in need. Shaquiri received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College and attended Newbury College for her undergraduate, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Shaquiri has worked in the Mental Health Field for over 6 years. She has worked with children and families in Intensive Foster Care, group homes, and Boston Public School systems. Shaquiri utilizes more of a focus evidence-based approach therapies like CBT, Narrative Therapy and Art therapy. Shaquiri creates a non- judgement space, allowing her clients to express themselves the best way they know how. Shaquiri brings respect, passion, commitment, and empathy into each session to help her clients meet their goal.
