Koralys

Koralys utilizes a client centered, strengths based approach to counseling. She believes that all individuals have the potential to be the greatest versions of themselves and she empowers clients with her empathic, enthusiastic, compassionate, humanistic, culturally sensitive way of counseling. Koralys places emphasis on meeting clients where they are as she believes that clients’ ability to live a life of dignity comes from within. Koralys is experienced in providing individual and family counseling and has worked with children, teens and adults in various settings. Throughout the years, Koralys has worked at psychiatric hospitals, as an in-home therapist and has provided counseling services in the community. She has also worked in collaboration with various organizations such as DCF, DMH and DYS.
Koralys received her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Criminal justice from Salem State University. She also went on to obtain a Masters in Mental Health counseling with a concentration in Forensics from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
Koralys’ areas of expertise include: Trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, personality disorders, ADHD, truancy, stabilization, delinquency, aggression, domestic violence, defiant behaviors, crisis reduction, gender identity along with many other areas. Koralys also utilizes CBT, DBT, play therapy and motivational interviewing.
Koralys is passionate about assisting others reach their full potential. She believes that everyone has the ability to thrive when given the proper conditions and she prides herself in demonstrating warmth and respect to her clients.
