Future Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jasmin (she/her) is a genuine, dedicated, and enthusiastic Social Work professional who aspires to make a positive impact in the lives of others. She holds two Master of Science degrees in Psychology and Investigations and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Louisiana State University. With seven years of experience in the field, Jasmin has worked in various capacities, serving diverse clients.

Jasmin’s journey began as a Youth Care Advocate, where she supported and advocated for young individuals under the care of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Department of Youth Services (DYS). Building on this foundation, she transitioned into working with adults facing substance abuse and court-mandated challenges. She also dedicated her efforts to assisting LBGTQIA+ youth and young adults, providing support to unsheltered families, and serving as a targeted intervention counselor for middle and high school students.

Continuously striving for growth and learning, Jasmin combines her practical experience with the knowledge gained from her education to deliver effective services to her clients. She genuinely enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, valuing and respecting each person for who they are. Jasmin’s approach focuses on meeting clients where they are and tailoring her sessions to address their wants and needs. She firmly believes that a person’s identity is not defined by their past experiences but by the choices they make to shape their future.
